It was moving, riveting, the performances were first rate. Thank you for the most moving theatrical experience we’ve had in a long time. BRAVO!
-Amy and Chuck Spielman
Fantastic show, incredible cast, one of the most moving shows I’ve ever seen on Broadway.
-Adrienne Galowin
This was 90 minutes (felt like 30) of emotion, recollection and informative acting that was long over due to come to life on the stage. Tovah is truly talented. She makes you believe every word she says, and rightly so. The theatre was so silent for the entire show, I felt as if I were the only one in the room and Tovah was speaking directly to me. She just gets better and better. I left feeling as if I knew Irena. My sobs were shared with so many people…these stories must continue to be told. Bravo!
-Mrs. Sherry Miranda
My husband and I really found the performance quite emotional; it felt as if we were there, in the cellar, being hidden as well! I had no idea that this was a true story, and it was especially moving to meet her daughter and hear her account of this time in her mother’s life. We never miss an opportunity to see Ms. Feldshuh in any production and we applaud her choice of work.
-Maria Bongiorno Czin
Enjoyed it immensely as did the other three people I saw it with. The play, Tovah Feldshuh, and all the actors were absolutely wonderful. I have recommended it highly to all my family and friends. Would see it again in a heartbeat.

One of the best shows we have seen in a long time…Tovah Feldshuh has not disappointed us…She is a fabulous actress…What a story…The bonus was having Irena’s daughter speak to us after the show…AMAZING STORY & SO WELL DONE !!!!
-Barbara Rosen
I was so moved by the incredible story and by the actors that made the telling of it so memorable. Tovah was really the reason I went to see the play and she did not disappoint–then again, she never does! The performance I saw offered the amazing bonus of having Irena’s daughter answer questions from the audience. The details she added, which were not addressed in the context of the play, were as mesmerizing as the performance itself. What a story! What a performance! What clever staging and set design! Guess you could call this a rave review!

I thought the play was excellent and could not stop thinking of it for the rest of the evening. This play should be mandatory for Junior High and High School students.
-Mel and Sheila Stanger
This was an extremely moving and very well performed play!…and another reminder of the cost of freedom that we take so lightly here in the USA. We highly recommend it.
-Steve and Lynn Weinstein
The play was very gripping and moving. It dealt very well with a horrible subject matter (The Holocaust) in a very human and uplifting way. The message was universal and timeless. It’s the classic “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” message.
-“MagsPanda”
We loved the show, thought it was engaging and well acted. Tovah is fabulous, as usual, and hearing her comments at the end of the show was a special treat. In addition, it was particularly moving and memorable to see Irena’s daughter on stage answering audience questions. I will highly recommend this show to others!
-Lisa Feit
It is a great story and its being told in a superb touching way by a great cast with Tovah as the lead. I hope many people and especially schools will see the show.
-Orna Stern
I had the great pleasure to go see Irena’s Vow and I can sincerely say I was truly moved. The acting was fantastic and felt so real. It has been a while since I have been to a play and the fact it dealt with surviving such a horrible time in history made it so worth watching. As a teacher, one tries to teach the students about how lucky we are being able to sit and be friends with each other, how hate only breaks people and ourselves as human beings. This play really demonstrated the power love and the rewards of self-sacrifice for helping other in order to live. I have informed my family and friends that they should definitely go see this! Thank you so much for bringing this play to life for all to witness and think about!
-Annette Amaya
The play was riveting…the acting superb, set perfect and having Irena’s daughter to answer questions was an amazing finale. I thought that Tovah Feldshuh was wonderful. I had seen her in Golda’s Balcony and I admire her talent. I would recommend this play to anyone. It was a very moving experience. It clearly makes the point of “never forgetting.”
-Linda Langsdorf
“Irena’s Vow” was by far the best production that I have seen. It was so powerful that my rapt attention was only broken by the sobs around me during the last fifteen minutes. It was an incredible story portrayed superbly by Tovah Feldshuh.
I have been recommending “Irena’s Vow” to everyone that I have been speaking to. It was an experience of a lifetime. This is theatre at its best.
